'Modern Needlecraft' edited by Davide C.
Minter was printed in Great Britain in 1932. It has over 250 pages and
includes chapters on embroidery, crochet, knitting, millinery,
dressmaking, repairs, loose covers, rug making and household linens.
There are fascinating discoveries to be made amongst its pages, which
each have clearly written instructions, photographs, patterns or
illustrations. It would be fun to recreate some of the nostalgic items
explained inside. |
